The audio description service was one of the first accessibility services launched by Liceu over 10 years ago, on the road to become an accessible venue. In the 2015/16 season, a total of 354 persons with visual disabilities (many of them through the Association of the Visually Impaired of Catalonia and the ONCE benefited from this live audio description system, offered for each staged opera of the season in one representation.
